Ultimate Cooling Technology
Edible, Food-Grade Safety
AVANTPET cooling gel uses ingredients that are also used in food additives like ice cream, jam, and candy, so if a pet happens to chew on the mat and ingest some of the gel, it will not be a problem.
Antimicrobial & Mold Prevention
Crafted with eco-friendly materials, AVANTPET products are certified safe from skin irritation, mites, and bacteria. Polygiene-treated fabrics and natural phytoncide block mold and bacteria, keeping the mat fresh and safe through temperature shifts.
- Please lay the cooling mat in the area where your pet spends time and lives.
- If you prefer a cooler temperature, store the mat in the refrigerator or freezer shortly before use.
- For pets who may have difficulty adjusting to the cooling mat, place a familiar blanket or cloth on top to help them get used to it.
- If a more thorough cleaning is needed, gently hand wash with a mild detergent in lukewarm water (below 104°F), and air dry in a well-ventilated, shady area. Avoid direct sunlight as it may reduce the cooling gel's effectiveness.

Is it okay if my pet chews on and ingests the cooling mat?
The AVANPET Cool Gel is made from plant-based glycerin (VG), propylene glycol (PG), and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), which are FDA-approved food-grade materials, making it safe if ingested by pets. However, it is not designed as a food product, so please ensure that your pet does not chew on or ingest it.
Can mold develop on the surface of the cooling mat?
Mold can develop on cooling mats if they are exposed to pet saliva, sweat, and a hot, humid environment for extended periods, similar to other pet bedding or toys. While external factors may introduce mold, the cool mat is designed to resist mold growth. If any foreign substances get on the mat, clean it promptly and perform regular maintenance to ensure it remains in good condition for your pet.
The cooling mat doesn't seem to be cooling as expected.
If the ambient temperature is too high or the mat has been used by your pet, it may feel less cool. The cooling mat is designed to be 3-5°C (5.4-9°F) cooler than the surrounding temperature, but it will return to its original temperature if left alone. For a more intense cooling effect, you can store the mat in the refrigerator or freezer before use.
Is there a possibility that the cooling mat will shrink over time?
All cooling mats that use cool gel contain distilled water. Prolonged use can cause the water to absorb heat energy and evaporate. To mitigate this, we use a high-density fabric that is twice as thick as the previous version to reduce the risk of shrinkage.
